WINES
THE DESIGNATIONS:
DOCG The Prosecco Superiore Valdobbiadene DOCG is cultivated on the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, an area particularly suited for the production of Glera grapes due to its soil and climate characteristics, at an altitude between 50 and 500 m above sea level. The Prosecco Superiore Valdobbiadene DOCG represents an absolute excellence within Prosecco productions and is marked by the band placed on the neck of the bottle, certifying its origin and quality control.
DOC TREVISO The DOC TREVISO is also distinguished by a state mark, certifying its origin and quality. Within the nine provinces of the “Great DOC” of Prosecco (Belluno, Gorizia, Padua, Pordenone, Treviso, Trieste, Udine, Venice, and Vicenza), the province of Treviso historically represents the heart of Glera grape production, the blend at the base of DOC Prosecco.
DOC VENEZIA The DOC VENEZIA designation, established in 2010, includes wines produced in the provinces of Venice and Treviso, whose grapes follow the regulations of the Protection Consortium. Within the territories of DOC VENEZIA is a geographically restricted area, defined as “PIAVE,” from which the namesake designation originates.
